FFORME Spring Summer 2027 imagines a new Manhattan tribe through an examination of American sportswear and the rebellious attitude that once defined it. Familiar pieces such as the shirt, jean and car coat provide the foundation, though FFORME strips each form down before rebuilding it through cutting, subtraction and release.

SPRING SUMMER 2027

A quote from Judy Blame, “It suited my rebellion,” sets the tone for the season. His approach to bricolage informs a collaboration with Alba Navarro of ANH Studio, which turns found and functional objects into jewelry and accessories. Tiny perfume bottles, reclaimed silver box clutches, fishing lures, tackle and signet rings appear throughout, with rings linked into chains. Everyday objects leave their original purpose behind and become part of the collection’s visual language.

FFORME applies the same process of reduction and reconstruction to clothing. Shirts, jeans and outerwear appear slashed, creased and reshaped. A paper-light car coat in heat-seamed silk cotton faille pairs with a narrow center-split skirt, while its shortened length introduces a revised proportion for the season. A geometric V-neck dress appears with a bandage bandeau, and architectural shirting incorporates concealed patch pockets.

Tailoring remains deliberately light. Hand-tailored trousers accompany crisp shirts, while single-breasted jackets in silk cotton faille and silk linen remove excess internal structure. The shoulder follows its natural curve as FFORME reduces the traditional canvas construction. Slashed backs fold away from the body, exposing skin and changing the relationship between garment and wearer.

Workwear enters through Japanese indigo denim combined with soft nappa leather. Interior patch pockets appear beneath visible topstitching, bringing functional construction to the surface. The collection treats utility as material for experimentation, using familiar workwear codes within its controlled silhouettes.

A liquid twill wrap coat introduces a softer line through leather paneling and a belt worn low at the waist. Linen dresses use leather straps and buckles that circle the body and create exposed sections of skin. These details continue FFORME’s interest in garments that shift through cuts, openings and adjustable elements.

Transparency develops through abstract lace mesh layered over a knitted bodysuit. Elsewhere, real metal lamé enters minimal suiting, catching and reflecting summer light. FFORME balances these reflective surfaces with silk cotton faille, silk linen, denim, nappa leather, twill and linen, allowing each material to determine the weight and structure of the silhouette.

The palette remains concentrated: Ebony, Bone, Optic White, Indigo, Steel and Burnished Gold. The colors support the collection’s disciplined approach to shape and material. FFORME takes established American wardrobe forms and subjects them to a process of cutting, stripping and rebuilding.
