The main inspiration is developed from the lead character in the film; “500 Days of Summer”, in which a man, deeply in love, gives everything without regret, even when the relationship comes to an end. The theme of love is portrayed with optimism, characters do not linger on past regrets but look positively into the future. The designer, Chin has a special fondness for Romantic Comedies, believing that they give any solitary person positive expectations and prospects for the future. This affirmative message becomes the core to Chin’s SS19 collection, interpreted through raw edged multi-coloured cropped tops and straight jackets. The collection also adopts bright colours whilst playing with a disparate use of fabrics and patterns, stripes, checked patches and ruffled designs unify in the Love Intl. collection. – from Chin Menswear Intl.
