Fashion house REPRESENT introduced the Spring Summer 2023 Storms in Heaven collection celebrating a moment of colour. Symbolising the aesthetic of form, shape and silhouette, with immediate recognition to the Represent DNA, emphasised hues and statement graphics capsulise the essence of the collection, ‘Storms in Heaven’. The approach to create a complete wardrobe remains true to Represent’s mission, with a seamless thread of consistency in style weaving throughout every piece. At first glance, Storms in Heaven evokes memories of summer days, with a palette flooded in bright colour and bold shades. Looking deeper, we witness a collection fully aligned with the Represent Initial logo which they debuted for FW22. The logo is displayed in an ‘all over’ fashion in a number of luxury pieces including quilted gilets, lightweight hooded jackets as well as tote and sling bags.
SPRING SUMMER 2023 COLLECTIONS
A variant of the standard initial logo is pronounced within the collection, namely, the Storms in Heaven logo. Consistent throughout SS23, the logo features heavily on a number of brightly hued varsity jackets, bombers, t-shirts, shorts, shirts, sweaters and hoodies. It presents itself as a meaningful time capsule in Represent’s history, whilst looking to embrace the future, further cementing the Initial logo into the brand’s DNA. Another logo which features in the collection is Initial Assembly, a multicoloured deconstructed graphic of the Initial, which is displayed amongst a variety of varsity jackets and jersey sweaters, t-shirts and hoodies. SS23 also adds to Represent’s stacked arsenal of graphics, with a new range of in-house designed graphic t-shirts and hoodies, all of which maintain elements of the bold Represent aesthetic which has become synonymous with their seasonal collections.
Floral prints are yet to have been a component of Represent’s Spring Summer collections until now. Aligning with the theme of bold colour running throughout the whole collection, floral pieces include viscose shirts, shorts, pants and mesh shorts in vibrant hues of red, cream, black, green and blue, with not-so-subtle initial logos weaved within the print Storms in Heaven looks to land into the season with a strong offering of footwear, with Represent’s newest sneaker silhouette, The Bully, dropping in Mustang/Neon Orange colourways. Another iteration of the sell-out Viper is also set to strike in a cream edition, as well as a more minimalist Apex in Sand and Reptor Low in Flat White. Represent’s Spring Summer Collection of 2023 completely enfolds the spirit of the season, maintaining core components of their luxury offering of oversized fits, dialled in silhouettes and beautifully crafted garments. The ubiquitous elements of bolder colour, although a newer face for the brand, thread perfectly throughout the range situating Storms in Heaven as a standout collection in the calendar. – from Represent
The first drop of Storms in Heaven takes place Wednesday 1st February 2023. Drop2 releases on the 1st March 2023, following which on the 29th March there shall be a third and final drop to the seasonal collection,
