The collaboration between Randomevent and New Balance has resulted in the “The Sweetness of Kin” collection, featuring the 1906R and 9060 models. This collection is a blend of warmth and contemporary fashion, with each pair showcasing a different color palette that highlights Randomevent’s design.
The 1906R model in this collaboration gives us an earthy and warm aesthetic with toasty tan hues across its leather and suede overlays. Cream shades contrast the “N” logo, laces, sockliner, and heel counter, while a brown midsole and tonal outsole complete the sophisticated design.
The collection draws inspiration from confectionery desserts, especially evident in the 1906R model, which features a cream-colored tight-knit mesh upper, cream leather overlays, a lighter cream hue on the heel cap, and red accents on the tongue and heel branding. The ABZORB-equipped midsole is presented in a rich, chocolatey brown, reminiscent of a cherry-topped cake.
The Randomevent x New Balance 1906R “The Sweetness of Kin” collection is set to release on January 12th, 2024, and will be available on the Randomevent website and at their flagship store in Shanghai, with a wider release through New Balance and select retailers to follow. The retail price for the collection has yet to be announced.
