Nike Sportswear brings LISA and the Moon Shoe together for a new Fall 2026 campaign that connects the artist’s career with one of Nike’s earliest footwear experiments. The campaign features the BLACKPINK member, rapper, singer, dancer, and actress wearing new seasonal versions of the Moon Shoe.

Lalisa Manobal began pursuing her career at an early age. At 14, she won an audition for YG Entertainment and left Thailand to train as a K-pop artist. She later debuted as a member of BLACKPINK in 2016 alongside JISOO, JENNIE, and ROSÉ.

BLACKPINK has since grown into one of the biggest groups in contemporary pop. Born Pink became the first album by a female K-pop act to reach No. 1 on both the Billboard 200 in the US and the UK Albums Chart. The group also became the first Korean act to headline Coachella in 2023.
Alongside her work with BLACKPINK, LISA has developed a major solo career in music and entered acting. In 2025, she appeared in the third season of HBO’s The White Lotus, playing Mook, a health mentor at the fictional Thai resort.
Speaking to Nike in January 2026, when the brand announced its long-term partnership with her, LISA recalled that during her trainee years she mainly wore clothes suited to dancing, including tracksuits, oversized T-shirts, and sneakers. She said she saved her allowance to buy a pair of Nike Dunk Highs for training and still considers that purchase one of her strongest early memories connected to the brand.

In the same interview, LISA said she wanted her work with Nike to encourage women to express themselves through what they wear and feel confident in who they are.
Nike connects LISA’s story with the origins of the Moon Shoe. Nike co-founder Bill Bowerman developed the original concept through an experiment in his kitchen. The Moon Shoe became one of the company’s earliest footwear breakthroughs and helped establish an approach based on experimentation and continued refinement.
For the new campaign, Nike Sportswear uses lunar imagery to reference both the Moon Shoe’s name and LISA’s career. The visuals show LISA wearing the sleek Moon Shoe silhouette as she reaches the moon, leaves a shoe print on its surface, plants a Nike Sportswear flag, and appears atop a lunar podium.

Nike pairs the campaign with “Mister Magic Moon,” a track The Kim Sisters released with Joe Tanner’s Orchestra in 1964. The Kim Sisters found international success decades before the term K-pop entered common use, giving the soundtrack a direct connection to an earlier chapter of Korean popular music.
Nike Sportswear currently offers the Moon Shoe in new seasonal colorways through Nike.com and select Nike and partner retail locations globally.
