Nike is set to release two new colorways of the ReactX Rejuven8 clogs in Khaki and Dusty Cactus on April 23, 2025. Building on the momentum of previous launches, the latest versions continue to emphasize functionality, wearability, and a design language rooted in foam-based innovation. These clogs are tailored to users seeking recovery-focused footwear that maintains comfort across long hours of wear, both indoors and outdoors.

The ReactX Rejuven8 Clog debuted in early March to immediate consumer interest, fueled by its distinct molded construction and the use of Nike’s upgraded ReactX foam. The shoe originally appeared in limited drops and was previewed during the Paris Olympics, where Nike introduced it as part of its evolving recovery lineup. Since then, the model has grown in popularity for its comfort-first build and versatility across everyday situations. The two new colorways – Khaki and Dusty Cactus – aim to keep up with growing demand and broaden the aesthetic range of the silhouette.

ReactX Foam: Technology Behind the Comfort

At the core of the ReactX Rejuven8 clogs is Nike’s ReactX foam, developed for increased responsiveness and reduced environmental impact. ReactX offers a 13 percent improvement in energy return compared to the brand’s earlier React foam. It also boasts a significantly reduced carbon footprint, with Nike reporting a 43 percent cut in emissions during production. This material ensures the clog stays lightweight while offering superior cushioning and impact absorption – a combination suited for recovery, long walks, or extended wear on hard surfaces.

The clog is constructed as a single piece of foam, eliminating the need for overlays, seams, or traditional stitched components. This design streamlines the structure, keeping weight to a minimum while reducing material waste. It also makes the shoe more flexible, allowing it to adjust to the natural shape of the foot without the rigid structure found in many slip-on models.

Design Features: Khaki

The new Khaki edition of the ReactX Rejuven8 features a uniform dark tan finish. The colorway is subdued, making it adaptable for casual use without drawing too much attention. Ventilation ports line the vamp and lateral panels, promoting airflow to keep the feet cool even during extended use. The footbed is contoured for ergonomic comfort and includes extra room in the forefoot to accommodate wider feet.

A molded Swoosh appears on the lateral side of the upper, pressed directly into the foam structure without any additional elements. Beneath, the outsole is made from sticky rubber with a radial traction pattern. This configuration adds stability and grip across a variety of surfaces, allowing the clog to be worn outdoors with minimal concern for slipping.

The Khaki version is listed under style code HV5060-200 and will retail for $70. It continues the model’s use of material and structural simplicity, pairing understated color with high-function design elements.

Design Features: Dusty Cactus

The Dusty Cactus iteration introduces a two-tone visual approach, combining a base hue of light teal with Persian Violet accents. The dual-color scheme gives the shoe a more expressive presence compared to earlier monochrome versions. Like the Khaki model, this clog includes strategically placed ventilation holes and a contoured footbed. A molded Off-Noir Swoosh is embedded into the lateral side for a subtle contrast.

Functionality remains consistent. The ReactX foam upper and midsole wrap the foot with responsive cushioning, while the rubber outsole uses the same radial pattern found on all Rejuven8 models. The Dusty Cactus colorway shares the same wide-toe structure and is also priced at $70, under style code HV5060-301.

While its color might attract attention, the structure beneath maintains the model’s identity as a recovery-oriented shoe built to accommodate foot swelling and fatigue.

Recovery-Driven Design for Varied Lifestyles

Unlike other casual foam slip-ons on the market, the ReactX Rejuven8 clogs are engineered for recovery use. The construction supports pressure distribution, which helps reduce soreness after athletic activities or prolonged standing. The use of responsive foam allows wearers to move freely without sacrificing support or cushion, which makes the clog suitable for activities ranging from lounging to errands.

CLOGS

A key point of distinction lies in the outsole. Many foam clogs do not include additional traction elements, limiting them to indoor use. Nike’s integration of a rubber outsole with a pattern designed for grip provides an edge, making the Rejuven8 viable for diverse terrains and weather conditions.

These features position the ReactX Rejuven8 Clog as a daily-wear option rather than a specialized recovery shoe meant only for athletes. While the design benefits post-workout use, its comfort and grip also serve those who are on their feet all day, including professionals in healthcare, education, and service industries.

Sustainability Through Materials and Production

Nike continues to emphasize sustainability with the ReactX platform. By using a foam formulation that requires less energy to produce and emits fewer greenhouse gases, the brand aims to align performance innovation with long-term environmental goals.

This approach is evident in both new colorways. The absence of excess materials like liners, adhesives, or synthetic overlays helps reduce the overall footprint of each pair. Ventilation and fit adjustments are achieved through molding, rather than added parts. This keeps the design simple while delivering real functional gains.

Where to Find the Rejuven8 Clogs

Both the Khaki and Dusty Cactus colorways of the Nike ReactX Rejuven8 Clog will release on April 23, 2025. They will be available through Nike.com, Nike retail locations, and select sneaker retailers such as Flight Club and GOAT. Given the high sell-through rate of previous colorways, interested buyers may want to act quickly to secure their preferred size.
