Moncler has joined forces with A$AP Rocky for a Genius collection that channels the artist’s disruptive energy into design. As a performer, creative director, and founder of AWGE, Rocky carries influence across fashion, music, and culture. His debut with Moncler brings together his instinct for experimentation and the brand’s signature codes, shaping pieces that act like an urban protective uniform.
Rocky drew on vintage ski garments as a starting point, layering in bold palettes and references from past and future. The color scheme pulses with lava red, electric indigo, and bright emerald, set against a grounding of black and white. Functionality stays central, with utility details designed as aesthetic features. The collection also turns graphic language into a visual hook: “Don’t Be Dumb,” the title of Rocky’s new album, appears on patches, while AWGE and Moncler logos assert themselves on layered waistband pants.

The collection carries momentum into campaign imagery captured by Charlotte Rutherford. Shot in an all-black void, the clothing surges forward with saturated tones and glossy finishes that reflect Rocky’s fearless approach. The visuals sharpen focus on detail, cutting away distraction to let the pieces demand attention. A film co-directed by Dan Streit expands the narrative further. It introduces helicopter motifs familiar from Rocky’s recent festival stages while weaving in a musical teaser of a track set for release later this year.
Shanghai’s City of Genius event set the stage for this debut. Rocky curated an environment built on the theme “Where retro ski meets future sound.” Inside the space, projection screens wrapped around a central sound pit, creating a sensory field where guests immersed themselves in music and visuals. This staging reflected Rocky’s habit of building atmospheres that connect his personal style with larger cultural references.

Practical play sits at the core of the clothes themselves. Padded outerwear shifts between vivid hues and sharp black contrasts, while pants and layering pieces show the collection’s flexibility. Accessories and graphics push Rocky’s aesthetic into sharper definition, aligning his visual language with Moncler’s performance roots.
With Moncler x A$AP Rocky now available in select stores and online, the collaboration extends Rocky’s influence into a new space. He channels his presence into clothing that feels designed for impact, charged with both visual punch and cultural resonance.
