LITKOVSKA Spring Summer 2026 collection, “(DIS)CONNECTED,” explores the delicate balance between connection and detachment, visibility and invisibility, silence and voice. Drawing inspiration from art brut, which exists outside the conventions of mainstream culture, the collection embraces raw, unfiltered sincerity. These works, though disconnected from global trends, often feel more connected to human emotion and truth than the noise of everyday life.
The duality of connection and disconnection became a central theme in the Paris Fashion Week presentation, where camouflage mesh, traditionally used to shield Ukrainian soldiers, was reimagined in pink. What was once a material designed for concealment now stood as a symbol of strength, resilience, and defiance. This transformation turned the fabric into a statement of vulnerability, uncompromising in its awareness of the ongoing fight for freedom.

Designer Lilia Litkovska examines truth, individuality, and authenticity within the rigidity of daily life. She reflects that the struggle is not only on the battlefield but also within ourselves, in the choices we make to resist conformity and stay true to our identities. This theme is echoed throughout the SS26 collection, which combines light, fluid textiles like lace, silk, and embroidery with sculptural accessories. Hand-carved wooden flowers form jewelry and tops, a tangible reflection of the collection’s deep connection to artistry and craftsmanship.
Tailoring, a signature element of LITKOVSKA, is deconstructed in this collection. Jackets feature transformable elements, while dresses unfold into multiple shapes, challenging the notion of a fixed design. Seams remain visible, and edges are left unfinished, reinforcing the collection’s theme of transformation and individuality. Denim contrasts with delicate fabrics, adding an unexpected weight and fragility to the designs.

A live performance by Ukrainian cultural figures Yuri Khustochka, a musician-composer, and Irena Karpa, a writer, singer, and cultural ambassador, accompanied the presentation. Their music and poetry intertwined, amplifying the collection’s exploration of human connection and resilience, and deepening its emotional impact.
More than just a fashion collection, “(DIS)CONNECTED” serves as a reflection of the world we live in. It raises a question: when we feel most disconnected, might we, in fact, be closest to ourselves and each other?
