Jordan Brand introduces the Air Jordan 4014 “Ferrari,” a retro-inspired hybrid silhouette that draws directly from two key moments in the line’s history. The model combines design references from Air Jordan 40 with Air Jordan 14, originally released in 1998 as Michael Jordan’s fourteenth signature shoe. The debut colorway places its Ferrari reference front and center through material choices, color placement, and detailing tied to the performance-driven identity associated with Air Jordan 14.

The shoe features a red suede upper that immediately signals its lineage. This choice mirrors the visual language that made the Air Jordan 14 synonymous with high-performance sports cars, while allowing the newer silhouette to maintain a distinct presence within the Jordan lineup. Yellow accents punctuate the upper with restraint, adding contrast.

Several signature elements reinforce the Ferrari connection through direct visual cues. A shield-style ankle badge appears on the lateral side, echoing one of the most recognizable details from the Air Jordan 14. Carbon fiber detailing on the toe continues that reference, offering texture and structure that align with the performance narrative associated with the original model.

Jordan Brand completes the design with details that speak to the brand’s internal history rather than external storytelling. A debossed “23” appears as a nod to Michael Jordan, integrated into the upper without dominating the composition. Metallic silver bumpers at the heel add a sharp finish, giving the rear of the shoe a defined visual endpoint.

The Air Jordan 4014 itself functions as a bridge between eras. By referencing Air Jordan 14 while drawing from the framework of Air Jordan 40, the silhouette positions itself as both retrospective and forward-facing. The design avoids replication, opting instead for reinterpretation through proportion, surface treatment, and construction.

The pair carries a suggested retail price of $200 USD and will be available through Nike. While Jordan Brand has yet to confirm an exact launch date, current expectations place the drop firmly within the Spring 2026 release window.
