Nike expands Devin Booker’s signature footwear line with the Book 2 Rising, a new colorway of his second basketball shoe scheduled for release on January 2. The model arrives in Black and Safety Orange and continues Nike’s rollout of the Book 2. This release adds a fresh visual option to the existing shoe without changing its structure, keeping the focus on consistency in design and use.

Book 1 debuted in February 2024 as Devin Booker’s first signature basketball shoe with Nike. Retail versions included Mirage, Haven, Rattlesnake, Ashen Slate, and Mowabb colorways. Alongside those releases, Devin Booker wore additional Book 1 player-exclusive pairs during NBA games, introducing alternate color treatments.
Nike introduced the Book 2 as a performance basketball shoe centered on control, balance, and foot stability. The model keeps a low profile designed to support repeated directional changes, controlled stops, and quick acceleration. The silhouette avoids excess bulk, maintaining a compact shape intended for regular on-court use.
Underfoot, Nike builds the Book 2 with a Cushlon 3.0 foam midsole paired with a forefoot Air Zoom unit. This configuration delivers responsive cushioning while preserving court feel.
