PUMA x Daniëlle Cathari Debut Collection Drops February 7

Natural textures and tonal suede define the footwear collaboration

PUMA introduces its first collaboration with Daniëlle Cathari through a reworking of two footwear models, the Suede and the Speedcat. The project draws from texture and natural reference points while staying closely aligned with the existing forms of each shoe. Cathari approaches both silhouettes through material choice and surface detail, placing emphasis on touch and visual density.

SNEAKERS

Rich, fuzzy suede covers the upper of each style. The material choice gives both shoes a tactile quality that alters how light interacts with their surfaces. The Suede and the Speedcat each carry this treatment in full, allowing the texture to define the visual experience of the collaboration. The approach keeps the structure of both models intact while changing how they feel and appear.

Cathari introduces a visual language inspired by small-scale natural environments. Color references come from fungi with vivid and unusual hues. The Suede appears in a saturated red tone linked to cap mushrooms, while the Speedcat appears in a dusty moss shade that reads softer and more muted. These colors connect directly to the theme of a living ground layer, suggested through surface references and pattern cues.

Debossed shapes appear on the heel of each shoe, forming eye-like forms that resemble a spider’s gaze. These shapes also function as Cathari’s logo, integrating brand identity directly into the material surface. Each shoe features the logo again on the tongue, maintaining consistency.

The collaboration includes interchangeable laces for both models. This detail allows wearers to adjust the look of each shoe while keeping the core design intact. A classic gum sole anchors both styles, providing visual continuity with earlier versions of the Suede and Speedcat.

The campaign imagery places emphasis on soft textures and natural tones. The shoes appear within a setting that reinforces material qualities and color relationships.

PUMA x Daniëlle Cathari becomes available on February 7, 2026. The release will appear on PUMA.com, in PUMA flagship stores, and through selected PUMA stockists.
