Fashion house Zegna introduces Spring 2026 collection through the Winter Garden, a site tied to the house’s origins in Trivero, Italy. Zegna roots this return in Oasi Zegna, a 100 square kilometer territory in the Italian Alps created by the brand’s founder. Ermenegildo Zegna conceived the area as a place where design, nature, and family developed side by side. The Zegna family established their homes there and supported artistic practice while Ermenegildo Zegna commissioned artists, designers, and architects. He also developed the 232 Road, which links Oasi Zegna with nearby communities and reflects his belief in daily engagement with beauty.
SPRING SUMMER 2026
That vision led the family to invite Pietro Porcinai to Trivero. Pietro Porcinai, born in 1910, devoted his career to redefining relationships between human environments and nature. His collaboration with the Zegna family produced the Winter Garden and introduced a shared approach focused on glass, light, water, and plant life. The family asked Porcinai to contribute beyond architectural plans. He helped shape a way of thinking that guided how domestic spaces related to their surroundings.

Porcinai reworked gardens at Casa Zegna, Cà Gianin, and Villa Al Roc in Trivero. He designed these areas as living rooms immersed in nature rather than as greenhouses or conservatories. The gardens supported social gatherings, private family time, and business meetings. Pergolas, trellises, and green walls connected spaces of work and leisure while allowing nature indoors. During a period when industry, art, and garden design rarely aligned, this collaboration introduced modern garden ideas into classical villas and factory settings.
The philosophy established in Trivero extended into a broader dialogue between environment, lifestyle, and design. In these gardens, the Zegna family recognized a physical expression of Porcinai’s ideas grounded in refinement and innovation rooted in nature. The Winter Garden stands as a reference point for how architecture, planting, and daily life could coexist without hierarchy.

For Spring 2026, Zegna returns to this site with a campaign featuring its Global Ambassador, Mads Mikkelsen. The campaign presents style that feels instinctive and unforced. Materials and forms respond to Oasi Zegna through extraordinary fabrics that interact with the environment. Vellus Aureum, the house’s rarest wool fiber developed through long-term textile research and sourced from select growers worldwide, appears alongside SECONDSKIN leather. Within the SECONDSKIN family, the Triple Stitch™ shoe serves as a functional signature, carrying Zegna’s long-standing focus on performance and craft into the Spring 2026 season.
