The Engine A 26 launches in three colorways: Cheetah and Asym Atomic Tangerine Digital Lime, each priced at $130 USD, and Chalk Black, priced at $120 USD. These initial releases introduce the model’s visual direction while presenting the structural and performance updates that define the latest version of the Engine A franchise.

Reebok developed the Engine A 26 for players who rely on speed, power, and rapid directional changes during competition. The shoe incorporates an ERS midsole paired with SuperFloat foam in the forefoot. This configuration supports energy return and responsiveness during jumps, sprints, and quick transitions. Reebok also integrates a drop-in SuperFloat POD in the forefoot, which enhances responsiveness and strengthens the connection between the foot and the court surface.
The upper and midsole include targeted support zones designed to stabilize the foot during lateral motion and abrupt stops. This structural support assists athletes during defensive positioning, offensive cuts, and fast transitions. The outsole features an updated herringbone traction pattern engineered to improve grip and maintain contact with the court. This design element strengthens control during rapid changes in direction and supports consistent performance throughout gameplay.

Basketball player Matas Buzelis describes the Engine A 26 as fast and powerful, noting that the evolution of the Engine A platform reflects what athletes require to advance their performance. His feedback reflects the role of athlete input in the development of Reebok’s performance footwear.
Reebok’s elite basketball roster, known as Team RBK.B, will wear the Engine A 26 during competition. The current roster includes Matas Buzelis, Lexie Brown, DiJonai Carrington, Nate Ament, Dink Pate, Tre Mann, and Aneesah Morrow. Their on-court use introduces the model during live competition and connects the shoe directly to professional basketball performance.

The Engine A franchise represents Reebok’s continued focus on basketball innovation through performance-driven footwear design. The Engine A 26 advances that direction with updated cushioning technology, revised traction, and structural adjustments that support modern gameplay demands. Reebok will release the Engine A 26 beginning February 27 through its official retail channels, with regional availability varying by market.
