Salomon introduces the XT-Whisper Gradient Pack for Spring 2026, updating the XT-Whisper silhouette through three new colorways while keeping its established construction and technical features unchanged. The pack includes colorways: Vanilla Ice / Almond Milk, Paloma / Almond Milk, and Walnut / Bitter Chocolate. The design uses subtle gradients with sharper color accents, bringing dimension to spring styling.

XT-Whisper builds on Salomon’s XT design lineage and carries forward its layered construction. The upper features a textured composition defined by multiple elements and varied finishes. Matte and shiny surfaces appear within the same build, creating contrast through material selection. A wavy Sensifit™ application wraps the upper and reinforces the structure of the shoe.
Quicklace™ defines the lacing system through a minimal one-pull mechanism that allows fast adjustment and easy entry. Sensifit™ works together with this system by circling the vamp and securing the foot in place. This setup maintains a stable fit during wear. An anti-debris tongue prevents particles from entering the shoe, adding a functional layer to the construction.
The design includes a chassis system that supports stability and dampening. agileCHASSIS™ works in combination with the EnergyCell midsole to absorb impact and support the foot under pressure. This construction follows the technical direction associated with the XT series.
Material selection focuses on durability and airflow. The upper combines textile and synthetic components, supported by 3D mesh that increases breathability. Anti-debris mesh prevents particles from entering the space between the foot and footbed. The lining uses 100 percent polyester textile, paired with a soft textile lining for comfort.
The insole features an OrthoLite® diecut sockliner shaped to match the interior of the shoe. This construction supports cushioning, breathability, and durability. The outsole uses rubber with Chevron lugs designed for multi-directional grip. Mud Contagrip® supports traction on loose and uneven surfaces through deep, sharp lugs built for adhesion. Additional construction details include a protective toecap and a lace pocket for storing the Quicklace™ system.
Salomon will release the XT-Whisper Gradient Pack on April 2 as part of its spring lineup, with a retail price of $145.
