Adidas Originals and Pharrell Williams introduce the next chapter of the Virginia universe with the Virginia Vario Flat Earther. This release continues Pharrell’s approach to reworking adidas archive designs through his focus on shape, color, and material.

The model draws from the adidas Yoga Vario, a silhouette first released in Fall Winter 2004. The original design drew influence from yoga practice and principles tied to mindful movement. Pharrell revisits that concept and reshapes it into a lifestyle sneaker. He names the model to reflect groundedness and balance, while encouraging a shift in perspective.
Pharrell describes the concept as a continuation of the Virginia line, tracing it from the Jellyfish model, which introduced a sense of flotation, toward the Virginia Vario Flat Earther as the next step, defined by a low-profile, fitted design that focuses on groundedness, close contact with the earth, and intentional movement.
The design keeps its original introspective foundation while shifting toward everyday wear. The Virginia Vario Flat Earther arrives in two versions. One features white full grain leather with green stripes, while the other uses white full grain leather with black stripes. Each version offers a minimalist construction that wraps the foot and supports flexibility and breathability.
The upper uses full grain leather to provide a soft and comfortable feel. A leather lining enhances comfort throughout wear. The construction includes an EVA insole and a direct injected outsole, which together support fit and function in a lifestyle context.
This model presents a low-profile silhouette with a flat structure. The design expresses individuality and self-expression, which define the Virginia concept. It introduces a playful tone into sneaker design while staying grounded in its source material.
The Virginia Vario Flat Earther will release in two colorways at a retail price of $140. The sneaker will become available starting April 11, 2026, through adidas, the CONFIRMED app, and at select retailers.
