AURALEE and New Balance reunite for the AURALEE × New Balance 204L, a collaborative take on one of New Balance latest lifestyle models. The sneaker first appeared at Paris Men’s Fashion Week in June 2025, giving the 204L its first introduction through AURALEE’s material and color approach. The release begins exclusively at AURALEE on Friday, May 22, 2026, followed by a global launch at select stores on Friday, May 29, 2026.

The collaboration updates the 204L through materials, color, and detailing. New Balance bases the model on running silhouettes from the 1970s and 2000s, bringing together a slim low-profile shape with texture drawn from technical footwear. AURALEE keeps that foundation and gives the sneaker a tonal treatment through two colorways, White Lime and Dark Brown.
White Lime combines leather and nubuck with lightweight mesh. The colorway gives the 204L a clean appearance while allowing the layered upper to show through subtle material contrast. Dark Brown uses washed suede and nubuck, creating the look of a pair that already carries wear through its surface. The two versions share the same silhouette, although each one takes a different route through texture and tone.
The 204L design brings together past and present New Balance references. The multi-piece upper features embossed overlays, while the double-stacked “N” logo gives the side profile a distinct marker. Underfoot, the sneaker uses an EVA midsole and rubber outsole. The outsole includes a 2000s-inspired strike path and a tread pattern influenced by 1970s running shoes, connecting the model to two different eras of New Balance performance design.
The collaboration avoids heavy contrast and relies on surface quality, paneling, and tonal variation. White Lime feels lighter through its mix of leather, nubuck, and mesh, while Dark Brown gains depth from washed suede and nubuck. Each version also arrives with a custom shoebox.
The AURALEE × New Balance 204L comes in sizes D/22.5 to 29.0 cm, with an additional 30.0 cm size. Product codes include U204L7YU for White Lime and U204L5I7 for Dark Brown. After its Paris debut, the collaboration now enters release through AURALEE first (May 22), then through select global retailers one week later (May 29).
