Kith, Lionel Messi, and adidas Football come together for a major collaboration ahead of the 2026 World Cup. The collection marks two anniversaries at once: 20 years since Messi’s debut on football’s biggest stage and 15 years of Kith. Ronnie Fieg and Messi shaped the assortment together over the course of a year, meeting several times to refine the mix of performance pieces, lifestyle designs, footwear, and collectible items.

The collection carries Kith, Messi, and adidas Football branding throughout the range. Select pieces also feature 20th and 15th anniversary crests, along with the KXVH Monogram created for the project. The result connects Messi’s football history with Kith’s design language through pieces made for the pitch, the street, and the wardrobe around the game.

The on-pitch offering starts with jerseys inspired by key moments in Messi’s career. Two styles reference 2006 and carry Messi’s original number 19. Two additional jerseys feature his number 10, now closely linked to his career. Each jersey comes with a matching pair of shorts, allowing the collection to present full kits instead of single tops.
Kith and adidas Football also add goalkeeper jerseys with all-over prints, gloves, tracksuits, nylon warm-up pullovers, socks, a ball bag, and two sizes of co-branded footballs. These pieces give the performance side of the collaboration a wider scope, with items tied to training, match-day styling, and football culture.
The lifestyle range changes the tone. Fieg and Messi include a double-breasted suit, a short-sleeve crossover blazer with matching suit shorts, a washed denim jacket with matching shorts, a knit polo, wool tracksuits, a leather duffle bag, and additional apparel. This side of the collection reflects Kith’s approach to polished everyday dressing while keeping adidas Football references visible.

Footwear plays a large part in the release, with six styles split between performance and lifestyle design. The COPA Mundial 17 UltraBOOST returns as a reference to the first Kith and adidas Football partnership from 2017. This version features a snakeskin-embossed texture on the leather upper.
The F50 Megaride adds a gradient upper and a translucent midsole that changes appearance with interchangeable insoles. The F50 Walkable Cleat looks to the first adidas cleat Messi wore during the 2006 World Cup. On the lifestyle side, the release includes two Handball Spezial colorways with premium suede uppers and gum sole units, along with a special deconstructed Superstar.
Kith, Messi, and adidas Football also created two limited-edition trading cards for the release. The cards show Messi alongside graphics from the collection. Customers who purchase any of the four jerseys or any of the six footwear styles receive a card as a gift with purchase. Select orders will also include cards signed by Messi, authenticated and graded by PSA. Fewer than 100 of each signed card exist.

The campaign features Messi in still photography and a short film titled The International Language of Messi. The images show Messi wearing the collection as Fieg and Messi intended. The film uses commentators speaking different languages while reacting to some of Messi’s most memorable goals, with his name serving as the word every viewer recognizes.
Kith debuted the film at Nu Stadium during an Inter Miami CF match on May 24. After the screening, attendees received limited early access to shop the collection through the Kith App.
Kith & Messi for adidas Football releases globally on Friday, May 29 at all Kith stores. The collection also launches at 11 AM on Kith.com and the Kith App in the New York, London, Paris, and Tokyo time zones.
