Adidas brought Home of Soccer to Brooklyn Bridge Park as one of its major FIFA World Cup 2026 moments of the summer. The brand filled the New York site with athletes, artists, creators, fans, and young players, turning the day into a public gathering for sport, style, music, and local community. Thousands of fans attended the event, which linked match energy with the wider culture around football.
EVENTS
David Beckham gave the day its strongest generational connection when he met fellow adidas athletes, including Cavan Sullivan. The exchange placed an established global figure beside one of the sport’s youngest names and gave Home of Soccer a direct link between past influence and the players now shaping the game. adidas also gathered Trinity Rodman, Alessia Russo, Paul Pogba, Aitana Bonmatí, Chloe Kelly, Donovan Mitchell, Cavan Sullivan, and other names from sport and culture.

Women’s football also received a major focus during the event. AJ Tracey introduced a lineup that included Linda Dallmann, Chloe Kelly, Lily Yohannes and Trinity Rodman, one year before the FIFA Women’s World Cup. Their presence gave the day a sharper sense of where the game continues to gain energy, audience and cultural relevance.
As daylight faded, Home of Soccer changed from a football festival into a music-led takeover. Larry June opened the evening program before PinkPantheress performed for the crowd. Their sets gave Brooklyn Bridge Park a concert setting and linked adidas’ football program to New York music culture, live performance, and the social energy around major sporting events.

adidas Stripes Exchange gave vintage collectors, local creatives, and independent brands a space inside the event. The area focused on football style, fan stories, and neighborhoods that shape how people dress around the game. Haitian-American hair artist Kayra Theodore created a braided installation inspired by the tournament and offered custom flag-bead braiding for fans who wanted to mark personal roots, identity, and team support in a personal way.
The Lot Radio partnership brought New York’s music scene into Home of Soccer. DJ Tara, Mickey Perez, and Hellotones played live sets, while Santea and Pablo appeared as part of the day’s wider cultural programming.
Fans also saw an oversized tribute to Lamine Yamal’s knee slide. adidas brought the celebration to life through a large scale activation that sailed past Brooklyn Bridge Park, creating one of the event’s clearest images against the New York skyline.

On the pitch, adiCup continued with the Manhattan Kickers earning tickets to England vs. Panama and securing their place in the national adiCup Finals later this summer. Home of Soccer also continues as a fan destination during the tournament, with watch parties, interactive experiences, performances, adidas x Lot Radio residency programming, and appearances from names in sport and culture. The Brooklyn event gave adidas a public stage for football culture in New York, bringing elite athletes, local fan communities, fashion references, and music programming into one shared site.
