Jordan Brand introduces the Women’s Air Jordan 3 Sport Renaissance in Obsidian and Track Red, giving the familiar silhouette an asymmetrical color treatment and several material updates. The pair combines an Obsidian leather foundation with Blue Beyond, Chalk, pink, red and white details, creating a different treatment on each shoe.

The color arrangement gives the pair its defining feature. One shoe combines the dark Obsidian upper with light blue and white accents, while the other introduces hot pink and red details. The mismatched treatment gives each side its own palette while retaining the same construction and overall form.
Material changes also distinguish the Sport Renaissance from many familiar Air Jordan 3 editions. Tumbled leather overlays replace the model’s traditional elephant print, introducing a different texture around areas usually associated with one of the AJ3’s most recognizable graphics. Smooth Obsidian leather covers the main upper and creates a dark foundation for the brighter accents.
Jordan Brand also revises the tongue and collar. A ruched tongue adds texture at the front of the shoe, while mesh appears around the collar and eyestays. These details introduce softer surfaces against the leather construction and give the upper a more varied material finish.
The sneaker retains several elements associated with the Air Jordan 3. Visible Nike Air cushioning remains underfoot, while Jumpman branding keeps the connection to the original model. The combination allows the color and material updates to carry most of the visual change without altering the core silhouette.
The Air Jordan 3 Sport Renaissance releases August 15, led by the women’s edition at $205. Nike will also offer the colorway in Little Kids’ sizing for $95 and Toddler sizing for $80.
