McDonald’s has teased a new collaboration with G-DRAGON and his fashion label PEACEMINUSONE, setting up one of the fast-food company’s most anticipated artist partnerships of 2026. Scheduled to launch across 13 Asian markets, the project brings together McDonald’s instantly recognizable visual identity and the distinct graphic language G-DRAGON has developed around his label.
The first teaser offers only a limited indication of what the collaboration will include. McDonald’s has yet to reveal specific menu items, merchandise or a complete release schedule, leaving the initial campaign focused on the meeting of the two identities. The Golden Arches provide one side of the equation, while PEACEMINUSONE brings its recognizable daisy motif and G-DRAGON’s approach to fashion, graphics and contemporary pop culture.
G-DRAGON founded PEACEMINUSONE as a creative platform closely connected to his own visual identity. The label has become recognizable through its use of the daisy with one missing petal, a symbol that appears repeatedly throughout its clothing, accessories and collaborations. That graphic provides an obvious point of connection for a McDonald’s project, where familiar logos and symbols can become part of a new shared visual system.
The collaboration also continues McDonald’s strategy of working with major musicians and cultural figures. Previous partnerships have included BTS and Travis Scott, projects that extended beyond food menus into merchandise and highly visible promotional campaigns. G-DRAGON brings a different creative identity to the format, with PEACEMINUSONE giving the partnership a direct fashion component from the outset.
The focus on 13 Asian markets also gives the collaboration a regional scale closely connected to G-DRAGON’s audience and influence. As the frontman of BIGBANG and a solo artist, he has maintained a major presence in music and fashion, while PEACEMINUSONE has allowed him to develop projects outside traditional recording and performance formats.
For now, McDonald’s appears to be using anticipation as part of the campaign. The teaser confirms the partnership without explaining its full commercial structure, encouraging speculation around potential apparel, accessories, packaging and menu-related elements. Limited-edition merchandise appears likely given PEACEMINUSONE’s fashion identity, although neither brand has disclosed the final product lineup.

That uncertainty gives the first announcement much of its impact. McDonald’s enters the collaboration with one of the most universally recognizable brand systems in consumer culture, while PEACEMINUSONE brings an aesthetic built around altered symbols, graphic intervention and G-DRAGON’s personal creative language. The eventual collection will depend on how directly those two systems interact.
Further information on products, participating markets and release dates is expected as McDonald’s and PEACEMINUSONE continue the rollout. For now, the teaser establishes the project as a cross-category collaboration between food, fashion and music, with G-DRAGON once again extending PEACEMINUSONE into a new commercial context.
