PUMA and ROSÉ return to the Speedcat with two new editions that deepen one of the clearest signatures of their collaboration. Arriving in earthy brown and deep burgundy, the latest pairs take the low-profile sneaker away from its motorsport roots through nappy nubuck, wrapped laces and a softer autumn palette.

Blackpink member ROSÉ joined PUMA as a global ambassador and collaborator in 2024, and the Speedcat quickly became a recurring part of that relationship. By 2025, she had fronted campaigns for several versions of the sneaker before introducing her first full PUMA x ROSÉ collection in August. That debut included the Speedcat Ballet and Speedcat OG Premium, establishing a set of details that now continue into the new release.

Wrapped laces return as one of the most recognizable elements. On the latest pairs, they sit over nappy nubuck uppers in tonal brown and burgundy, adding texture while keeping the Speedcat’s narrow profile intact. Custom branding appears on the tongue, identifying both editions as part of ROSÉ’s ongoing work with the brand.
The material choice changes the character of the shoe considerably. Speedcat began as a motorsport-inspired design, with its low construction and streamlined proportions tied closely to racing footwear. Here, the textured nubuck softens that origin and gives the sneaker a more tactile finish suited to the season.

The two colorways approach that idea differently. Brown gives the design an earthy, understated finish, while burgundy introduces a deeper tone with a richer surface. Neither pair relies on heavy contrast. The focus stays on the texture of the nubuck, the elongated shape and the wrapped lacing that now links several ROSÉ Speedcat releases.
That continuity matters within the wider PUMA x ROSÉ project. Her first full collection already combined sport references with more personal details, including custom graphics and reworked footwear. The Speedcat Ballet pushed the silhouette toward a more delicate construction through pointe-inspired lacing, while the Speedcat OG Premium kept closer to the original sneaker and added laces that wrapped around the upper.

The new editions build from that same vocabulary without repeating the earlier designs. PUMA keeps the familiar Speedcat structure and shifts attention toward material, color and surface, giving the collaboration a more seasonal expression.
The campaign imagery reinforces that change. Instead of leaning into the shoe’s automotive origin, PUMA places the sneakers among flowers and natural textures. The setting gives the brown and burgundy versions a softer context and brings the tactile quality of the nubuck into focus.
The latest release also reflects how important the Speedcat has become within PUMA’s lifestyle category. Its low-profile shape has gained renewed attention in recent seasons, while k-pop supertsar has become one of the key figures associated with its return.
The PUMA x ROSÉ Speedcat collection will launch on October 8, 2026, through PUMA.com, PUMA flagship stores and selected PUMA stockists.
