PUMA introduces the Speedcat Croc, a new interpretation of its motorsport-inspired sneaker, with global artist Rosé fronting the accompanying campaign. The special edition updates the familiar low-profile silhouette through crocodile-textured accents, glossy finishes, and a selection of three colorways. The release continues PUMA’s exploration of the Speedcat, introducing new materials while maintaining the distinctive proportions that define the original design.

The Speedcat Croc retains the streamlined construction that has shaped the sneaker’s identity since its introduction. PUMA builds the latest version around a soft suede upper, using polished crocodile-textured overlays to introduce additional surface detail. The contrasting materials give the shoe a different visual character, with the suede providing a matte finish against the reflective texture of the overlays.

Crocodile-textured detailing appears across the PUMA Formstrip and eyestays, placing the new material treatment along recognizable elements of the silhouette. The glossy surface catches light differently from the suede upper, drawing attention to the shoe’s curved lines and familiar profile. These details introduce a refined finish while keeping the overall design closely connected to the original Speedcat.
PUMA presents the Speedcat Croc in black, deep brown, and off-white, with each colorway offering a different interpretation of the same material treatment. The darker editions emphasize the texture of the crocodile-effect overlays through subtle changes in surface reflection. The off-white version provides another option within the collection, maintaining the combination of suede and glossy detailing.

Tonal PUMA branding and matching laces complete all three versions. The coordinated finishes keep the focus on the sneaker’s construction and contrasting surfaces. Across the range, PUMA uses texture as the main design element, allowing the crocodile-effect detailing to distinguish this edition from previous Speedcat releases.
The Speedcat originally drew its design language from motorsport, establishing a recognizable silhouette through its slim construction and distinctive shape. Its connection to racing remains central to the model, even as PUMA continues introducing different material treatments. The Croc edition follows this direction, bringing a polished finish to a sneaker that retains its original low-profile proportions.

For the accompanying campaign, Rosé wears the Speedcat Croc in a series of images that place the sneaker within a softly lit retro interior. The setting introduces warm, understated surroundings that complement the footwear’s material details. Rosé brings her personal approach to the styling, continuing her collaboration with PUMA through another interpretation of the Speedcat.
With the Speedcat Croc, PUMA continues developing the existing silhouette through considered changes in texture and finish. The combination of suede, glossy crocodile-effect overlays, and tonal detailing gives the familiar design a new appearance while preserving the proportions associated with the Speedcat. The PUMA Speedcat Croc launches October 15, 2026, through PUMA website, PUMA flagship stores, and selected PUMA stockists.
