Following the Spring/Summer 2025 collection, Missoni appoints Alberto Caliri to lead the brand into its next creative era

Missoni has announced the departure of Filippo Grazioli as Creative Director, effective after the presentation of the Spring/Summer 2025 collection. Grazioli, who joined the Italian luxury brand in 2022, will be stepping down to pursue new creative avenues. Reflecting on his time with the maison, Grazioli stated, “It has been an honor and a privilege to be part of Missoni. I am proud of the achievements and the experiences shared with the entire team. I am now ready to face new challenges and explore new frontiers.”

In a swift move, Missoni has appointed Alberto Caliri as Grazioli’s successor. Caliri, a familiar face within the company, previously held the position of Creative Director for several seasons before transitioning to focus on the Missoni Home line. His return to lead the brand’s core fashion division signifies a desire to maintain continuity while incorporating fresh energy into Missoni’s designs, bridging the past with the brand’s future ambitions.

Livio Proli, Missoni’s CEO, expressed gratitude for Grazioli’s contributions, noting his role in helping steer the brand through a time of creative transformation. Proli affirmed Missoni’s commitment to growth, driven by a blend of innovation and tradition that keeps the brand’s DNA intact. The company’s recent financial figures, with a two percent increase in the first half of 2024 reaching €64.2 million, point to stable progress amid these changes.

As Grazioli prepares for new ventures, Missoni’s creative leadership is set to undergo another chapter of evolution under Alberto Caliri. The brand remains focused on reinforcing its iconic heritage while embracing new opportunities for expansion and innovation. With this transition, Missoni aims to navigate the dynamic fashion landscape, maintaining its position as a symbol of Italian craftsmanship and vibrant design.
