Project: Lynx
Location: Miami, Florida
Scope: 2,400,000 SF mixed-use multi-tower project
Designed by Oppenheim
Completion time: 2011
Lynx Downtown is a collaborative effort between Oppenheim and the Pei Partnership, sons of I.M. Pei, architect of the Bank of America building. The development has been conceived as an assemblage of Miamis urban milieu structured within two separate clusters of towers. One cluster contains a purely residential programme, the other contains mixed programmes comprising offices, hotel + condo/hotel. The clusters have been oriented to provide the occupants with the best possible views, and to reference complement and enhance contextual relationships.
