The expected rock elegance gets a new charm in the Spring Summer 2012 menswear collection by John Varvatos, this time the designer was inspired by the style of 70's icons such as The Who, Rolling Stones and Led Zeppelin giving it a fresh softer and more polished feeling.
This freedom and nod to perfect imperfection was the inspiration for my Spring/Summer 12 collection. – John Varvatos
Stand outs in the often very layered looks are the jackets and outerwear, which are light and ready for the season and at the same time made with a delicate cut. In the colour palette John explores the shades of gray, earthy tones and as the ultimate nod to the Summer ads up slew of pure white outfits (with an occasional touch of black). We had the honor to see the new men's collection presented in the absolutely stunning Chiesa sconsacrata di San Paolo Converso in Milan.
