Top model Hana Jirickova stars in Blues Revival denim story captured by fashion photographer Sonia Sieff for the Spring Summer 2015 edition of Telegraph Magazine. In charge of styling was Daniela Agnelli with hair by Sylvia Wheeler and makeup by Lucy Halperin.
I was the youngest of three siblings and as we were quite poor I would only get hand-me-downs from my brothers, so I always had a tomboy look through no effort of my own. When I was a bit older, I asked my mother to make me a pair of jeans. We designed them together and she did really cool stitching for me on the pockets and added flowers to the bottom of the leg. All the other kids in school were really jealous. Nowadays my favourite pair are by Raiine, a small cool upcoming brand from Copenhagen. – Hana about her first memory of Jeans.
My favorite designer who is also a personal friend is Alexandre Vauthier. He’s a Paris-based designer doing couture and pret-a-porter and his dresses are to die for. They just make you feel special, sexy and superhuman. I wore a white killer dress of his for the Carine Roitfeld film premiere and annual fashion party which marked the end of Paris Fashion Week. I just felt amazing all night. I also love John Galliano, a true genius, and I’ve been so blessed to work with him twice now. – Hana about favorite designers
