Breakthrough Italian Fashion House MSGM founded by Massimo Giorgetti in 2009 is back for it’s sophomore MSGM x Diadora collection. Everybody’s favourite 90s sportswear attire plays homage to the big days of tennis with an 80’s sentiment of the epic proportions from the likes of Borg vs McEnroe. Tennis wear is the game for the new MSGM collab, mixed along with the label’s refreshing take on fashion. This time the collaboration for the first time introduces menswear to the capsule collection. In a treat for all the fans of 90s footwear is the re-release of Diadora’s legendary trainers the B.Elite and MI Baskte brought back from the archives. In addition the sole of the trainers is colored in contrasted rubber.
“MSGM with DIADORA, in the graphic lines of a tennis ball. The second MSGM x DIADORA collection, the first to include women’s wear, draws its inspiration from heritage sport of the late Seventies. In the fabrics: laminated canvas, triacetate, colour-block piqué and tennis twill.” shares MSGM TEAM, continues “A sporty attitude. Triacetate zippered tracksuits, colour-blocking with contrasting macro stripes. Bands with logos on sleeves and trousers. Tracksuit tops in coated lace. But also in laminated fabric, as for the trousers and sporty shorts. Two-colour polo shirts, openwork t-shirts, and tennis prints with rackets, shoes, balls, wrist bands and socks. “
