First look at Versace‘s Fall Winter 2019.20 advertising campaign captured by fashion photographer Steven Meisel, with creative direction from Ferdinando Verderi. In charge of styling was Jacob K, with set design from Mary Howard, and casting direction by Piergiorgio Del Moro and Samuel Ellis. Beauty is work makeup artist Pat McGrath, and hair stylist Guido Palau.
Versace shares: “The House’s iconography is celebrated in a rich, urban setting. Brick and cement backgrounds create a unique atmosphere contrasted by antique, luxury velvet furniture. The collection’s vivid faux furs, lush jewels and bright hues are complemented with brightly colored hair and bold styling that enrich the rock-and-royalty ambiance. The Campaign features single portraits of the talents as a reference to the model as a Versace muse. The Fall-Winter 2019 campaign is a celebration of Steven Meisel’s interpretation on how it feels to be a Versace muse in a time in which voyeurism has reached its peak.”
Stars of the campign are Anok Yai, Bente Oort, Hang Yu, Huang Shixin, Ilja Sizov, Kaia Gerber, Maike Inga, Paul Hameline, and Yassine Jaajoui.
