I have been thinking a lot about the time we started Self-Portrait nearly 8 years ago. From the beginning, I always wanted to create a brand that makes women feel special. What really interested me – and continues to influence my work – is designing at a contemporary price point for women from all walks of life, without compromising the quality of the product, or the experience that they have with our brand. For this latest collection, I wanted it to feel brighter, lighter, optimistic, and uplifting, to reflect the mood of the moment. There is a focus on elegant simplicity and on mood enhancing designs, that I hope will make women feel like the best versions of themselves. – Han Chong
