Designer Max Schiller presented EYTYS Spring Summer 2022 New Horizons Collection, that marks a new chapter for the brand, with a lookbook captured by photographer Ilya Lipkin, as part of the ongoing Paris Fashion Week. The collection explores and clashes dualities such as hard and soft, nostalgia and futurism, femininity and masculinity.

It is the result of some soul searching. When I was 20, my boss at the time said: ‘Max, your weakness is not being able to design for people you don’t relate to’. It really hit a nerve. I spent the following years trying to interpret an illusionary muse. However, I’m a bit older now, and so is my muse. Instead of fighting it, I just want to make things that are truly relatable. “Alluding to a clean slate, down-to-earth neutrals meet a crisp color scheme inspired by Serge Poliakoff’s blue compositions. The collection balances washed-out manga-style camouflage print with a dip-dyed business shirt and longline club blazer, as well as a Canadian tuxedo with silver studs, resembling a starlit night sky spangled across indigo denim. Blurring binaries, the footwear line is energised with retro-futuristic sneakers, platform sandalettes and squared-toe hiking sandals with convex soles.” – from Eytys
