Italian brand MARNI presented their Spring Summer 2022 Collection, that was inspired by unity and uniqueness, on September 25th, during the ongoing Milan Fashion Week. The collection evolves Marni‘s identity, and explores the joy of reconnection, and team work philosophy. Creative director Francesco Risso designed looks for all 500 attendees of the show – upcycled pieces from the brand’s past seasons, each one hand-painted.

“Clothing for a team, following one trainer: the heartbeat. Clothing that connects via a multitude of stripes: hand drawn or straight, falling vertically or diagonally; lines and stripes that are firm or open up in a dance of impromptu fringes. Lines that align to misalign.Outsized blazers, gigantic cardigans, outsized jumpers, big hoodies, outsized t-shirts, pajamas; tank tops, wrapped skirts. Daisies cut and accumulated into bra tops and long skirts. Forms that barely touch the body and shapes that sculpt it. Everything is elongated, falling here and falling there.
