Fashion brand MISORA NAKAMORI presented their Fall Winter 2022.23 Collection, with a lookbook captured by fashion photographer Bojana Tatarska, as part of the recently finished Paris Fashion Week. Styling is work of Gaultier Desandre Navarre, with lighting from Stan Rey-grange, and production by Foudre Paris. In charge of hair styling and makeup was beauty artist Giulio Panciera. Model Bella stars in the lookbook. For the collection, designer Misora Nakamori teams up with a former Kimono textile weaver from Hachioji Taguchi Orimono to create a custom fabric they call “Gisha“. Misora and Taguchi used traditional techniques to make a woven lace like composition that gives a special texture to the surface of the fabric. For the season, Nakamori reimagined codes from her previous collections.
“The beauty of “Gisha” is enhanced when hit by sunlight; it is subtle yet elegant and gains character with time and wear.“Gisha” was the starting point for her exploratory Fall/Winter 2022 Collection. Misora deploys variations in her study with coats, dresses, pants, skirts, shorts & an overall, and revisits staples from her previous offerings: her discernible inside-out raw jacquard, logoed bodysuits and leggings, leather & paint works. Rather than creative splits, Misora Nakamori dotes on research, and she is happy with letting it define her voice…for now.” – from Misora Nakamori
