Fashion brand PHILIPP PLEIN presented their Spring Summer 2023 Collection with a fashion show held on September 23rd, during the ongoing Milan Fashion Week. The runway collection tells the story of a woman and a man – communicated through a journey of colors, proportions, contradictions. For this season, designer Philipp Plein combines new graphics with attitude, striking silhouettes, pops of fresh colors and shining embellishments. Opening up the show was rock star Tommy Lee, who performed live and strutted through the runway in the brand new collection.

Hero pieces in the collection are adorned with an old school heart, a recurring motif – whether printed or embellished with crystals, it is a symbol of strength, love and romance. Crafted in luxurious Duchess fabrics featuring all over heart prints, strass embroidery, and buttons engraved with the iconic double P. For women, fresh summer dresses in Sangallo cotton are given a PLEIN edge and styled with leather biker jackets and denim, giving ultimate attitude. Evident in the blazer, crafted with the distinctive style of PHILIPP PLEIN is seen in various iterations, creating a versatile piece for the metropolitan woman and man traveling from Miami to New York, Los Angeles to Rio, or London to Tokyo – impeccable and avant-garde, always on the move. A touch of modernity is given by a refreshed denim with patchwork details which are embellished with precious decorative elements creating a garment that is full of light. SS23 introduces a metal arc inspired by piercings, appearing across the daytime and evening wear. Looks are completed with bags recalling the iconic symbol of greatness, the PLEIN hexagon.
