Fashion brand Jacob Cohën presented its Fall Winter 2023 Capsule Collection designed by Matthew Adams Dolan, that reinterprets American college looks in a contemporary way. The collection pays tribute to American college life, without a hint of nostalgia. It reimagines the classic elements of American sportswear with oversized volumes and floor length silhouettes. The color palette features shades of purple, burgundy and chocolate. Fashion photographer Luna Conte captured the lookbook featuring models Aliet and Zavi. In charge of styling was Francesca Cefis, with casting direction from Nicolas Bianciotto, and production by The Art Board. Beauty is work of hair stylist Roger Cho, and makeup artist Caroline Fenouil.

“Wide-ribbed corduroys with a decidedly masculine feel are the fabrics of choice for pleated miniskirts and shirts with macro collars. Preppy figure-hugging blazers are layered with loose shirts, cargo trousers and truly oversized pleated chinos. Robust fabrics, such as coat cloth, are used for the Prince of Wales check suits. The weaves of the classic pullovers come alive, thanks to injections of colour from slub yarns, whilst the twin-set is adorned with a decorative raised and open-stitch diamond pattern. Vintage-style graphics on sweatshirts and American jersey combine with delicate à jour embroidery on rustling silk shirts and dynamic dresses with ruffles for a romantic flavour. Together with the wide-leg trousers, long coats with severe shoulders – almost with a military feel – tell tales of oversized volumes and sinuous movements.” – from Jacob Cohën
