MM6 Maison Margiela and SALOMON have unveiled the next step in their collaborative partnership, reflecting a joint commitment to innovative and transitional design.
SPORTSWEAR
Following the successful autumn introduction of six new products, the duo have released the Cross Mid trainer and the XT 15 backpack on October 12th. These new additions stand as symbols of the hybrid essence at the heart of their collaboration.
The Cross Mid trainer merges the robust technical aspects of performance wear with a singular silhouette. It boasts an inner slip-on design, coupled with a rugged high-grip rubber sole. A waterproof gaiter with a toggle, giving the shoe its unique mid-cut shape, further enhances its design. The trainer is available in striking contrasts: slate blue combined with graphite and rose, and a blend of bitter chocolate, ice blue, and moonstone grey.
On the other hand, the XT 15 backpack, a SALOMON classic, has been reimagined through the lens of MM6 Maison Margiela’s distinctive design principles. It’s versatile in design and function, apt for everything from bustling city commutes to rigorous trail hikes, and from intense triathlon sessions to leisurely weekends. It’s available in understated yet impactful shades of black, bitter chocolate, and slate blue. Each piece bears a co-branded logo, cementing the collaborative spirit of this collection.
Both the Cross Mid shoes and XT 15 backpack are accessible from October 12th through MM6 Maison Margiela’s online platform, boutique stores, and selected multi-brand outlets.
