
The latest Y-3 Atelier emerges as another collaborative collection between adidas and the designer Yohji Yamamoto. This partnership, now presenting its second collection, continues to focus on the boundaries of fashion and function, stemming from avant-garde aesthetic of Yamamoto and adidas’s approach to sportswear innovation. Through the use of high-performance materials like waterproof 3-layer GORE-TEX®, the collection reinterprets Yohji Yamamoto and Yohji Yamamoto POUR HOMME’s original runway designs into a modern context, retaining their iconic silhouettes, now focused on functional life.


This season’s Y-3 Atelier pieces are characterized by its refined tailoring and commitment to functionality, showcasing a range of monochromatic pieces that seamlessly blend the worlds of sport and high fashion. The collection’s emphasis is on waterproof materials and thoughtful design details like extended seams, flap pockets and the reflective logos. The Y-3 Atelier Collection is captured through the lens of the photographer Thue Nørgaard, with its launch set for March 15th.
