Adidas Originals and Bad Bunny are expanding the BadBo collection with two colorways inspired by Puerto Rico. The BadBo 1.0 takes its grey palette from the changing atmosphere of a rainstorm, while the BadBo 1.1 draws on the warmer shades of the coastline at sunset. Both arrive globally on November 12, accompanied by a campaign featuring Toñita, Tyshawn Jones, Jackie Joyner-Kersee, Kim Ye-ji, and Kiké Hernández.

The release follows the introduction of BadBo earlier this year as Bad Bunny’s signature footwear line with adidas. The franchise reflects the artist’s approach to style and identity, with the two models offering different shapes, materials, and price points. This collection develops those distinctions through references to the weather and geography of his home island.

The BadBo 1.0 combines Grey Three, Cloud White, and Orbit Grey. Its rainstorm reference comes through in the tonal arrangement, with pale and darker greys spreading across a leather and suede upper. The materials introduce variation within the restrained color scheme, allowing their different surfaces to define the layered construction. At $160, the 1.0 remains the higher-priced model in this release.
The BadBo 1.1 uses Simple Brown, Feather Grey, and Sandy Pink to recall the coast as the sun sets over the water. Introduced in September, the model has a low profile and three curved overlays that follow the contours of the upper. Those wave-like panels reference Puerto Rico’s coastline, giving the island a role in the shoe’s shape as well as its colors. A T-toe drawn from the adidas archives and contrasting layers complete the design. The 1.1 retails for $120.

For the campaign, adidas and Bad Bunny bring the two silhouettes into a cast with connections to sport and Puerto Rican community life. Their “shoe for everyone” premise puts people from several generations and professions alongside one another, with each participant bringing an identity established through their own work.
Jackie Joyner-Kersee joins the campaign as a six-time Olympic medalist and one of track and field’s most accomplished athletes. Kim Ye-ji represents another Olympic discipline, following her silver medal in pistol shooting at Paris 2024. Their inclusion places two athletes from different generations within the same footwear project.

Tyshawn Jones brings his New York skateboarding background and two Thrasher Skater of the Year titles. Los Angeles Dodgers player Kiké Hernández adds Major League Baseball to the cast. Alongside them, Toñita connects the campaign to Brooklyn’s Puerto Rican community through the Caribbean Social Club, the Williamsburg establishment she founded and has sustained for decades.
The casting gives the collection’s focus on individuality specific people and histories. Its range extends from Olympic competition and professional baseball to skateboarding and a neighborhood gathering place, connecting the footwear to communities through the people who help shape them.
The adidas Originals x Bad Bunny BadBo 1.0 and BadBo 1.1 release globally on November 12, 2026, through the adidas CONFIRMED app and select retailers, priced at $160 and $120, respectively.
