In March 2024, MARNI introduces its latest Spring/Summer 2024 Vol. 2 digital campaign, offering a captivating glimpse into the runway collection unveiled at the historic 51 Rue de l’Université in Paris the previous September. Renowned American photographer Colin Dodgson lends his lens to explore the themes of intimacy and tactility, spotlighting the profound relationship between design and the human form through the act of dressing.
Shot against the picturesque backdrop of Marni’s Milan headquarters and its environs, the campaign features Dutch model Lara Stone and Nigerian artist Leonard Iheagwam (known as Soldier) adorned in signature pieces from the runway. Dodgson’s unique approach sensitively magnifies the collection’s rich textures, capturing fleeting moments of movement bathed in the gentle morning light, where skin and fabric engage in a subtle sensorial dialogue.
Each frame of the campaign captures a sense of spontaneity, inviting viewers to immerse themselves in the details of Marni’s designs. The styling by Carlos Nazario further enhances the visual narrative. As a focal point, the campaign also introduces Marni’s latest creation, the Trunkoise Bag, an affirmation of the brand’s dedication to pioneering design and enduring elegance.
