Lanvin, one of the most esteemed names in luxury fashion, has announced an exciting partnership with AS Monaco Basket, widely known as the Roca Team, as its official off-court wardrobe partner. This collaboration showcases Lanvin’s commitment to merging the elegance of high fashion with the dynamism of professional basketball, marking a unique synergy between luxury apparel and sportsmanship. For the players, this partnership represents a blend of performance aesthetics and fashion sophistication.

The association between Lanvin and the Riviera dates back to the 1920s when Jeanne Lanvin, the maison’s visionary founder, launched Lanvin Sports, pioneering a line that catered to leisure and active pursuits. “Lanvin is pleased to deepen its connection to Monaco through its partnership with AS Monaco Basketball – a team that inspires both locally and on the global stage. The exemplary athleticism and team spirit that drive their success resonate with Lanvin’s own commitment to excellence. As Madame Lanvin herself understood over a century ago, the worlds of fashion and sport find common ground, creating powerful cultural synergies,” states Siddhartha Shukla, Deputy CEO of Lanvin, reflecting on the maison’s rooted interest in the world of sports.

To celebrate this partnership, Lanvin has curated an exclusive wardrobe for AS Monaco Basket players, bringing its signature sophistication to the basketball arena. The official attire includes the brand’s classic DDB1 sneakers and impeccably tailored suits, highlighting a style that echoes both refinement and ease. Players such as Matthew Strazel, Mike James, and Elie Okobo have been selected as the faces of this collaboration, with black-and-white portraits capturing them in Lanvin’s designs.

The partnership is described by AS Monaco Basket’s General Manager, Oleksiy Yefimov, as essential to the team’s mission of providing fans with an experience that fuses the excitement of professional basketball with high fashion. “Our mission is to deliver the ultimate Hoops Royal experience,” Yefimov expresses, envisioning a future where Lanvin’s elegance and Monaco’s competitive spirit create a memorable cultural resonance.
