Hed Mayner’s Fall Winter 2025 collection is a meditation on transformation, both personal and creative. Departing from the studio that served as both home and workspace for seven years, Mayner finds himself in a new creative rhythm, one rooted in fluidity, experimentation, and a dialogue with craft. This season, he pushes boundaries, embracing a shapeshifting aesthetic that reflects his evolving relationship with design.

FALL WINTER 2025.26 COLLECTIONS

The collection is alive with unexpected proportions and playful gestures. Tailored jackets with high shoulders collapse elegantly over the torso, while suit pants, cinched at the waist by leather and chain, blur the lines between formality and utility. Tufts of marshmallow white details flirt with the boundary between fringe and frill, injecting an element of ambiguity and whimsy. The dynamic juxtaposition of structure and fluidity brings a sense of movement and possibility to the collection.

Mayner’s designs continue to challenge convention, with robed pants draped generously around the hips and sleeves on shirts, coats, and knitwear arched into distinctive curves. Vintage pieces are deconstructed and reassembled – legs push through the arms of a beaten motorcycle jacket, while a cable-knit sweater with an emptied sleeve twists around the body, exposing the hip. These moments of playful reconstruction reflect Mayner’s deep engagement with the physicality of making, his hands shaping new stories from the past.

Materials also take center stage in this exploration. Flock-bonded denim shimmers with a broken sheen, washed leather feels lived-in yet luxurious, and compact knitted plaid is cut and re-sewn into forms that are both familiar and novel. Oversized silhouettes, long a hallmark of Mayner’s work, take on an air of dynamic playfulness, molding to the body with unexpected ease.

This is a collection where creativity meets reality, a balancing act between Mayner’s signature comfort zone of opulent proportions and his newfound rigor in cut and gesture. It’s intimate yet strange, structured yet fluid, a poetic reflection of Mayner’s journey into the unknown.
