SEVALI continues its exploration of upcycling and sustainability with Collection_07, its Spring Summer 2025 Couture presentation at the Sozzani Foundation in Paris. This latest presentation redefines the concept of an urban wardrobe, evolving beyond functional clothing into thought-provoking, conceptual pieces. Inspired by discarded materials found on the streets of Paris, the collection transforms overlooked elements into innovative fashion.

Deconstruction is central to Collection_07, both in design and presentation. The styling choices, intentionally unpolished hair and makeup, complement the raw aesthetic, reinforcing the idea that imperfection carries its own form of beauty. SEVALI draws from the chaos of city life, finding inspiration in what others dismiss, and reshaping these elements into wearable statements.
The collection challenges familiar fashion tropes, breaking down and reconstructing well-known silhouettes into something new. Traditional tailoring is dismantled and repurposed, pushing the boundaries of construction. Fabrics with prior histories find new purpose in pieces that question fashion’s reliance on mass production. Every garment tells a story of reinvention, proving that waste can become a source of creativity rather than an endpoint.

Beyond the materials, Collection_07 reflects a broader philosophy of transformation. The city itself becomes a source of raw material, with found objects repurposed into accessories and unexpected details. This approach not only reduces reliance on virgin textiles but also introduces a layer of unpredictability, as no two pieces carry the same origins.
SEVALI’s work presents sustainability as an evolving creative process rather than a fixed ideal. By embracing discarded objects and challenging conventional definitions of polish, Collection_07 offers a perspective where imperfection becomes a tool for innovation.
