Louis Vuitton unveils the LV Biker, a new signature bag designed by Nicolas Ghesquière, the Artistic Director of Women’s Collections. Featured in the Spring Summer 2025 collection, this latest creation takes inspiration from biker jackets, balancing structure with softness in a way that reflects the season’s theme of “soft power.”
This concept, rooted in French fashion and Louis Vuitton’s design philosophy, explores the contrast between delicacy and strength, qualities often associated with femininity. Translating this idea into accessories, the LV Biker bag introduces a fresh take on craftsmanship, integrating new leather techniques and referencing the brand’s rich legacy in trunk-making.

The LV Biker bag channels the aesthetics of motorcycle jackets, incorporating structured detailing, zippers, and a sleek silhouette. Its foldable construction adds versatility, taking cues from Louis Vuitton’s Speedy and Keepall models. The bag’s adaptable design allows it to be carried in multiple ways. With an adjustable strap system and two handles, it can be styled as a clutch, worn in the elbow, slung over the shoulder, or carried cross-body. This flexibility ensures it transitions between occasions, whether casual or formal.
One of the standout features of the LV Biker is its Pixel lambskin leather, developed to create a distinctive two-toned effect. The unique texture is achieved by applying a surface-level layer of color, adding depth while maintaining a soft, grained finish. This innovative material enhances the bag’s contemporary aesthetic, reinforcing Louis Vuitton’s tradition of material experimentation. The combination of classic craftsmanship and modern techniques results in a design that feels both familiar and forward-thinking.

The LV Biker bag is available in three sizes, offering different options to suit various lifestyles. The LV Biker MM is the largest format, providing spaciousness without compromising its refined shape. This version is available in Pixel Noir and Dark Denim. The LV Biker PM offers a more compact take while maintaining its functional design, available in Pixel Noir and Pixel Grège. The smallest model, the LV Biker Nano, is designed for both daytime and evening wear, with Pixel Noir as its signature shade. The selection of urban-inspired colors enhances the versatility of each piece, making them adaptable to different wardrobes and personal styles.
The LV Biker bag will be available in Louis Vuitton stores worldwide starting February 22, 2025.
