Gentle Monster has crafted two exclusive eyewear designs for G-DRAGON, marking the release of his latest album, Ubermensch. Known for pushing design into unexpected territories, the Seoul-based eyewear label created one-of-a-kind frames that reflect the artist’s visual language, musical direction, and cultural influence. Although not available to the public, the designs present a vivid glimpse into the creative exchange between G-DRAGON and Gentle Monster.

The first design carries the same name as the album: Ubermensch. Gentle Monster shaped the gold frame around G-DRAGON’s signature daisy emblem, an image long associated with his PEACEMINUSONE label. The temples stretch out to form the album title itself, sculpted with the precision of a wearable sculpture.

Gentle Monster didn’t stop at form. At each temple end, red and blue lip charms punctuate the design, unexpected yet deliberate details that nod to G-DRAGON’s layered aesthetic references. The frame turns typography into structure and symbols into texture. It reads both as a personal artifact and as a sculptural object.

The second design, titled Eye Cloud, takes on a more playful and layered structure. Pearls form a floating cloud around the lenses, softening the silhouette while adding dimension. What makes this frame particularly tactile is its system of 168 detachable charms. The collection includes elements like the daisy, the PEACEMINUSONE logo, and other custom icons that speak directly to G-DRAGON’s personal and creative identity.

Each charm attaches with intention, allowing the frame to shift in character based on what it wears. This customizable aspect turns the eyewear into more than a visual statement, it becomes a modular archive of references, an object that evolves with the wearer.
Presentation plays a major role in how Gentle Monster delivers the eyewear. Both pairs arrive in a custom gold sculpture of G-DRAGON’s hands. These hands don’t function as passive holders; they serve as extensions of the concept. They feature nail art similar to that on the charms and echo pieces from G-DRAGON’s own jewelry collection.

Although fans may look to purchase the frames, Gentle Monster confirmed the eyewear will remain exclusive to G-DRAGON. The designs represent a creative dialogue rather than a commercial release. The level of personal detailing, from the sculpted hands to the 168 charms, supports this direction. These are pieces made for one individual, intended to live within the visual story he continues to build.
