Born x Raised will release its latest collaboration with the Los Angeles Dodgers on May 30, 2025. Titled “LA Bleeds Blue,” the collection brings together the team’s visual identity and the brand’s street-level design language through apparel, headwear, and accessories.
The drop comes as the Dodgers lead the National League West with a 34–22 record. Shohei Ohtani continues to dominate headlines, hitting his 20th home run of the season earlier this week while also ramping up pitching sessions following elbow surgery. With the team set to open a high-profile series against the Yankees the same day the collection launches, “LA Bleeds Blue” arrives at a moment shaped by both performance and local relevance. Each piece in the capsule focuses on design, community, and history – all central to both the team and the brand.

A Collection Rooted in LA Identity
The Born x Raised Dodgers collection presents a sharp blend of baseball tradition and LA street culture. At the center of the release is a royal blue satin varsity jacket with appliquéd “Born x Raised” lettering across the back and “LA” on the chest. The design nods to vintage stadium jackets while reflecting the brand’s local roots.
The apparel lineup includes several graphic tees and hoodies that reference Los Angeles iconography through airbrush effects, gothic fonts, and classic Dodgers visuals. A standout piece features a hyper-detailed rendering of a championship ring surrounded by chrome-type graphics and Born x Raised branding. Another black tee shows flying cherubs under “City of Angels,” while a navy hoodie highlights a lowrider mid-bounce with chrome hydraulics – combining local car culture with team pride.
Sweatshirts and other hoodies continue the theme with Dodgers insignias on the front and large-scale graphics on the back, while caps arrive in both fitted and snapback styles through a continued partnership with New Era. These include a 2024 World Series edition and variations with Born x Raised’s crossed-arrows insignia.
Accessories complete the capsule with tongue-in-cheek pieces like mini wooden bats, branded peanut bags, and foam fingers – all designed with the same precision and irreverence that defines the rest of the collection.

Kiké Hernández and Eyedress Lead the Campaign
Dodgers player Kiké Hernández and musician Eyedress front the campaign. In video teasers, Eyedress performs a slowed-down version of “Take Me Out to the Ballgame.” These clips, filmed across Los Angeles, feature both figures in full looks from the collection, with settings ranging from Dodger Stadium to local streets.
The campaign acts less like traditional advertising and more like short-form storytelling. Its pacing and visuals align with the emotional tone of the collection, grounding each frame in a specific idea of place and personal connection.

Previous Collaborations with the Dodgers
“LA Bleeds Blue” builds on earlier collaborations between the brand and the team. In 2020, Born x Raised released a World Series collection following the Dodgers’ championship win. That capsule featured a mix of celebratory graphics and was met with rapid sell-through. In 2022, the “No Crying in Baseball” collection launched for Opening Day. It included a Dodgers “Rocker” cap and graphic-heavy apparel, designed to reflect fan culture in a way that felt close to the city.
In 2024, Born x Raised honored Dodgers broadcaster Jaime Jarrín through a collaborative capsule. The release acknowledged Jarrín’s decades of service and his role in Spanish-language baseball coverage. The designs incorporated subtle nods to his legacy and resonated with longtime fans of the team. Born x Raised co-founder Chris “Spanto” Printup, who passed in 2023, often spoke of the personal value behind these collaborations. Each Dodgers project reflects his intent to show Los Angeles as layered, active, and rooted in story.
Beyond their work with the Dodgers, Born x Raised has partnered with a diverse range of teams and brands, including the Los Angeles Lakers, Rams, and Kings, as well as international football club Paris Saint-Germain. Their collaborations extend to the NFL, featuring teams like the Las Vegas Raiders and Seattle Seahawks, and into motorsports with a collection alongside NASCAR. Additionally, Born x Raised has teamed up with Nike SB for the “One Block at a Time” Dunk Low and joined forces with brands like Stüssy and Levi’s, consistently blending streetwear aesthetics with cultural and sports influences.

Coinciding with the “LA Bleeds Blue” collection, Nike is launching the Kobe 6 Protro “Dodgers” sneaker on May 30. The Nike Kobe 6 Dodgers features a Game Royal snakeskin-textured upper, white Swoosh, and red baseball-style stitching on the tongue. Kobe Bryant’s number 8 is embroidered on the heel, and his signature appears on the tongue. This release pays tribute to Bryant’s connection to Los Angeles and his admiration for the Dodgers.
In addition to the sneakers, Nike is also releasing a “Dodgers” Kobe apparel collection. The collection includes a white Dodgers-style jersey with “Mamba” script on the chest, Bryant’s numbers 8 and 24, and commemorative embroidery reading “Thank You Kobe” and “Mamba Out.” Other items in the collection are performance accessories such as batting gloves, sliding mitts, arm sleeves, and a full catcher’s set, all featuring snakeskin textures and Kobe’s signature logo. These pieces round out a full head-to-toe setup designed to pair with the Dodger shoes and complete the on-field look.
