Nike continues the 30th anniversary of the Air Max 95 with the return of the “Bright Mandarin” colorway, set to release on June 6. This reissue revives the 2011 colorway while also referencing the original design with a “Big Bubble” structure that calls back to the model’s earliest form. Nike uses a gradient design on the upper that starts with white mesh and shifts through layers of grey suede. These tones echo Sergio Lozano’s original concept, which drew inspiration from the human anatomy, muscle fibers, ribs, and skin all referenced through material and layering. The sneaker maintains that structure with overlays that visually break down each section of the silhouette.
Orange accents bring contrast to the muted upper, appearing on the eyelets, mini Swoosh, and tongue label. The signature Air units take on the same orange hue, pulling the design together without overpowering it. 3M reflective details add a subtle flash in low light, giving the retro runner both performance visibility and a visual boost at night.
