PUMA and Aries return with a second full collection that draws power from the aesthetics of mixed martial arts and the energy of underground subcultures. This capsule advances the visual language established in their first collaboration, combining functional sportswear with a raw, combative edge.
The collection cuts through convention with silhouettes that reference both fighting forms and ritual design. Neo-tribal graphics wrap fitted pieces like the Tight Top and Shirt-Dress, while outerwear pieces offer a more layered narrative through gradients, textures, and adjustable construction. Every design choice leans into movement, shape, and surface tension.

Mixed martial arts serves as the main reference throughout the capsule. Its graphic vocabulary appears across both apparel and accessories, rendered through prints, custom patterns, and symbolic gestures. One standout motif is the cracked combat print on the Graphic Tee, two figures locked in hand-to-hand contact.
The hoodie and shorts feature a plush towel fabric with a repeating “A” monogram, designed to echo boxing robes and the performative entrance rituals of professional fighters. Even typography becomes part of the language, with custom type integrated across the apparel.

The Light Jacket introduces subtle color grading and tactile accents like beaded zipper pulls and hood fasteners. Matching pants finish the set with functional details like corded cinches, allowing the wearer to adjust fit based on context.

The collection reinterprets the Mostro, a shoe first released by PUMA in 1999. Aries strips back the original design’s forefoot straps and replaces them with a partially shrouded lace closure. The upper features precise leatherwork, giving the sneaker a crafted feel while still nodding to performance.

The Mostro’s revised design channels both street and sport, less nostalgic remake, more deliberate transformation. Aries injects their perspective through construction, letting form and texture speak without relying on retro cues.

PUMA and Aries round out the capsule with a Baseball Cap and gym-ready Duffle Bag. Each accessory complements the clothing with materials and graphics that mirror the combat energy of the main pieces. They function as both sport essentials and streetwear extensions, tying into the capsule’s theme of constant motion.
Photographed by Norbert Schoerner, the campaign features Muay Thai fighter Anna “Supergirl” Jaroonsak. Schoerner’s approach channels video game iconography from the late ’90s and early 2000s, referencing fighter selection screens and pixelated animations.

The PUMA x Aries collection launched on May 1, 2025, on ariesarise.com and at Aries’ London flagship. A global release followed on May 3 via PUMA.com and select retailers, including END. Clothing, Slam Jam, and KITH.
