Ryan Murphy adds another series to his expansive television roster this fall with All’s Fair, a legal drama set in the pressure-cooked world of divorce law. The show follows a group of elite female attorneys who leave a male-run firm to establish their own, navigating a sharp mix of professional rivalries, personal entanglements, and courtroom maneuvering. It premieres on Hulu in the U.S. and Disney+ internationally.
At the center of the series is a high-profile ensemble that includes Kim Kardashian, Naomi Watts, Niecy Nash-Betts, Teyana Taylor, and Matthew Noszka, joined by Sarah Paulson and Glenn Close. The show’s casting reflects a clear emphasis on range and intensity – bringing together established dramatic forces like Paulson and Close with Kardashian, who recently expanded her acting portfolio through scripted roles.
While the series is grounded in the structure of legal drama, All’s Fair uses the battleground of high-net-worth divorce cases to explore deeper questions of power, loyalty, and reinvention. The lawyers at the heart of the story are intelligent and ambitious, but they are also navigating internal conflict and personal compromise. Relationships between colleagues are tested as much as their tactics in court, with the tension building as the stakes rise with each case.
The creative team behind the show reads like a full production powerhouse. Murphy co-writes and directs alongside Jon Robin Baitz, Joe Baken, Jamie Pachino, Lyn Greene, and Richard Levine. The series is produced by 20th Television in partnership with Ryan Murphy Television. Kardashian, Watts, Nash-Betts, Paulson, and Close also serve as executive producers, joined by Anthony Hemingway – who directs as well – alongside Kris Jenner, Alexis Martin Woodall, Eric Kovtun, Scott Robertson, and Nissa Diederich.
The legal cases in All’s Fair are set against a backdrop of extreme wealth and media scrutiny, where public image is just as important as legal strategy. This setting gives the show license to explore themes beyond the courtroom – personal branding, social power, and the transactional nature of modern relationships. The characters are driven, but their ambitions often pull them in conflicting directions.
Scheduled for release in Fall 2025, All’s Fair will stream on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+ in the United States, with availability on Disney+ in other regions.
