Helmut Lang Pre-Fall 2025 collection arrives with a fresh campaign lensed by Daniel Shea. This season, the brand leans into clean shapes, textural nuance, and subtle construction choices that balance familiarity with forward design. Styled by Jason Rider, the looks prioritize wearability while still carrying Helmut Lang’s recognizable clarity.
The collection builds around fabrics that move with ease. Soft layers, translucent knits, and tailored cotton create a through-line that holds the season together. Lightweight shirts and loosely structured separates feel calibrated for late summer, but the construction tells a more focused story.

The all-white men’s outfits set the tone. A laser-cut poplin shirt anchors one of the key looks, its surface embroidered with tonal initials, a quiet but precise design cue. Nearby, the Spaced Sheer Crewneck introduces translucent striping across a 3D rib knit, adding depth to a classic shape without overwhelming it.
For dressier moments, Helmut Lang pivots toward fabric rather than embellishment. The Boxy short-sleeved shirt uses silk charmeuse to change the language of a simple silhouette. Paired with pleated Zoot pants in cotton twill, the result balances fluidity and structure. Malfilé fabric enters the mix in select pieces, bringing irregular texture and a subtle gloss to tailoring.

Denim also takes center stage this season. Helmut Lang finishes each piece with a worn-in wash that nods to vintage denim, but the cuts shift the conversation forward. One pair of jeans features a cocoon-tapered leg, sculpted to move differently than traditional straight or slim fits. The denim tops offer more reinterpretations. The Uniform Shirt shows patinated distressing and oversized patch pockets, directly referencing workwear while softening its stiffness. Meanwhile, the women’s Bustier Shirt reframes denim through tailoring, shaping the material into something more fitted but not rigid.
Elsewhere, jersey brings another layer of ease. The collection rounds out with a series of garment-dyed knits, hoodies and T-shirts that carry a light ombré effect. The gradient finish feels soft rather than loud, with colors that shift subtly from one shade to the next. Branded elements remain minimal, letting the fabric and fit take priority.

The full Pre-Fall 2025 collection is now available through Helmut Lang’s webstore. With its balance of clarity and construction, this release continues the label’s ability to deliver clothing that quietly reshapes how we think about daily dress.
