Hublot sets the tone for the season with the launch of the Big Bang Unico Summer 2025 in Mykonos, continuing its tradition of warm-weather drops in top Mediterranean destinations. Since 2017, the brand has moved through the summer calendar with a sense of speed and energy, and this year’s event brought together Usain Bolt, Mattia Vitale of Meduza, press, clients, and close friends for an afternoon of sun and color.

This limited edition timepiece, available in only 100 pieces, takes its palette from the island itself. The case glows in microblasted orange ceramic, picking up the warmth of late-afternoon light. A sky-blue ceramic bezel wraps the dial like the sea meeting the sky. Hublot keeps the silhouette light and athletic, with a 42mm case and a thickness of 14.5mm. The watch moves easily between settings, poolside, terrace, or club, thanks to the One-Click strap system that swaps styles in seconds.

Julien Tornare, CEO of Hublot, framed the launch as more than a moment: “Summer and its festive spirit have been celebrated at Hublot for the past 8 years. The Big Bang Unico Summer 2025 reflects what Hublot stands for: bold, vibrant and unforgettable moments. It’s not just about a watch launch or a party, it’s a feeling.”

The brand leans into high-tech ceramic for this edition, drawing on its in-house color development that began in 2018. The ceramic’s density and scratch resistance push past traditional options, while the tones orange and blue, carry the kind of clarity only possible through Hublot’s patented process. This material foundation supports the watch’s 100-meter water resistance and ready-for-anything attitude.

Inside, the HUB1280 Unico manufacture movement powers the watch. The flyback chronograph includes a column wheel, a date display at 3 o’clock, and a blue-plated oscillating weight in satin-finished tungsten. The silicon lever escapement runs at a frequency of 4Hz with a 72-hour power reserve. Built with 354 components and 43 jewels, the movement underscores Hublot’s drive for control and performance.

The Big Bang Unico Summer 2025 doesn’t stick to one look. It ships with three interchangeable straps: sky blue, dark blue, and orange, all crafted in white-lined rubber. Each strap offers a quick color shift while keeping the material profile sporty and functional. A titanium deployant buckle clasp secures the watch with a clean finish.
With pricing set at 31,300 USD, the watch sits firmly in Hublot’s high-performance tier. Buyers won’t just wear the Big Bang Unico Summer 2025, they’ll live in it, swap it out, dive with it, and take it from day to night without hesitation.
