Nike and NorBlack NorWhite have come together to release a new collection shaped by movement, culture, and the energy of Indian craftsmanship. The line includes apparel, footwear, and a cross-body bag, all designed to support women with confidence and comfort across sport and everyday life.
NorBlack NorWhite began with a commitment to the crafts of India, and that same approach carries into this partnership. “Our NorBlack NorWhite journey started with a deep admiration for the crafts practices of India and the people who bring them to life,” says cofounder Mriga Kapadiya. For this collection, the brand and Nike focused on bandhani, a traditional Indian tie-dye technique known for its intricate surface patterning. They used its visual rhythm to shape silhouettes that suit movement, flow, and everyday presence.

Across the line, the bandhani motif appears in pieces meant to move through different parts of daily life. Nike and NorBlack NorWhite applied this centuries-old patterning to hoodies, tanks, cropped tees, and bra styles. The set also includes a 5-inch short and a 7/8-length tight, designed to work individually or as matched layers. A cross-body bag rounds out the collection with function and color that ties every look together.

“This collection shines a light on the rigor, dedication and ancestral knowledge that’s rooted in Indian culture, and we hope each piece inspires women to draw into their own athletic mindset while navigating everyday life in India and around the world,” says Kapadiya.
Footwear plays a key role in the drop, with four silhouettes included: the Nike Air Max Craze, Motiva, Pegasus 41, and Calm slide. These models balance performance with style and reflect the same attention to pattern and palette seen in the clothing.

Cofounder Amrit Kumar explains the intention behind the look and feel of the collection: “When women wear pieces from our new collection with Nike, we want them to feel comfortable in their own skin, wherever they are in their journey. We want them to feel cool and collected through the colors, and to be ready to take on challenges and build strength and resilience through the patterns.”
The launch campaign features a cast of athletes who continue to shift perceptions of sport in India. Wrestler Anshu Malik, sprinter Priya Mohan, and cricketers Jemimah Rodrigues and Shafali Verma appear in the campaign visuals, wearing pieces from the line. Each image reflects a balance of athleticism and personal expression.

“What really hits different from other campaigns is that this collaboration is designed right here in India by a local collective that gets our vibe,” says Jemimah Rodrigues. “Wearing Nike that’s laced with Indian culture is a flex. It’s bold, rooted and ours. As a woman in a sport that’s often seen through a male lens, being part of a campaign like this is my way of saying, ‘We’re not just showing up, we’re here to take over, win big and look fab while doing it.’”
Now available, the Nike x NorBlack NorWhite collection invites women into a space where cultural identity and movement meet. Through every finish, cut, and color choice, the line stays focused on what it means to move with freedom, without leaving behind the reference points that shape how women carry themselves.
